With our recent addition of Gigabit and Fast Ethernet NIC and PHY solutions Atheros continues to deliver enhanced value and a greater share of the total bill of materials (BOM) for communications products to our blue-chip customer base.

Our Gigabit Ethernet enables the highest 802.11n WLAN performance, supporting up to 600 Mbps physical data rates, providing optimal connectivity to content and services for the most compelling whole-home, multimedia networking experience. We are delivering Atheros’ Ethernet solutions through our development teams in China and Taiwan to lower overall Ethernet costs, bringing Gigabit functionality to mainstream-priced PCs, wireless routers and access points.

NIC and PHY solutions are our first offerings and Atheros continues to develop an increasingly valuable portfolio of Ethernet networking products.
